You don't have to be present to bid! - Find how below!
Calves are viewed in the pasture on their dams, under natural conditions. If you are unable to make it to the viewing on September 25th and would like to see the calves, we will make every effort to accommodate your needs. Please call ahead to make an appointment.
For this type of sale you don't need to be present to bid.
The sale is conducted by phone. Base prices are set on each calf. You must open the bids on your calves by noon on September 27th. We then contact everyone who has placed a bid on a particular calf.
You are allowed to raise your bids in increments of $50 or more until bids reach $1500 then $100 increments. It's very important that you be available to take phone calls so that the sales can be finished quickly.
You are allowed to jump to a new calf once you have been out-bid on your current calf bid.
You must jump to a new calf at the time you are out-bid. This is beneficial to you, so that you don't have to have five bids out to end up purchasing one calf.
If you wish to purchase more then one, you need to have the number of bids out that you intend to purchase. Keep in mind that this form of bidding takes quite a few phone calls, so please be patient.
It’s a convenience for you in that you don't have to be present to bid.
Please call if you have questions on this type of bidding. This is a very common type of auction across the nation, and is very successful for breeders and buyers.
